June 2024 – Roots of Sickness & Health: Heartburn & Acid Reflux
As one of the most common gastrointestinal disorders, Acid reflux affects about 20% of the population.
Acid blockers or proton pump inhibitors (PPI’s) are one of the most prescribed medications and are generally the only “fix” for acid reflux if you seek medical attention for this issue. They are intended for short term use only and, long term use can cause major issues, yet many people use them for years.
This webinar will help you understand the reasons why people experience acid reflux and heartburn and how we approach addressing the underlying causes so that you can avoid or discontinue using PPI’s.
There is also a discussion on stress with a breathing and meditation exercise at the end!
